Where the Light Gets In: The Field Trip, Monday 19th August, Crop Circle

Where the Light Gets In is lifted from it’s home on the cobbled streets of Stockport and lands in a field near London for one day only.

A multi course experience utilising the restaurant’s farm along with produce from a close knit network of farmers, fishermen & foragers takes place.

The menu will represent what’s happening in the dining room that very moment, with responsive cooking from the environment around them on the day.

As the sun goes down the space will transform into the ‘Staff Room’ where the team will pour Natural Wine and serve snacks off the BBQ.

In the Staff Room records play late into the night, guests are encouraged to bring their own vinyls and wines from the bar to share and swap the flavours and sounds that keep them burning bright. 

Our Menu will reflect our kitchen farm, the seas at the time and the growers and rearers that we work so closely with. 

At this time of year we experience an abundance of herbs and flowers. Peas and Beans crawl up the trellis frames, lettuces and young roots adorn our beds and summer berries hang low from the brambles.  

The seas offer large brown crab and flat white fish as well as bass and shark.

Our Saddlebacks fatten off the young acorns, apples and damsons that line the fields.

Tasting Menu £90 per person.

Optional Wine Flight, £60 per person.

Optional Dry Flight, £30 per person.
